As promised, The Harmony Project took over the Columbus Commons Tuesday as hundreds poured into the park to sing Lady Gaga’s hit “Born This Way.” The local news also migrated en mass to cover the event.

The Columbus Dispatch has a video of compiled moments from the event and an interview with Harmony Project director David Brown. ABC6 and Columbus Alive (see videos below) also covered the event.

The festivities were sponsored by Equality Ohio, Outlook Media, Stonewall Columbus, The Creative Good, Ozone Studios, Ares Sportswear, 10Tv, The Columbus Dispatch, Alive! and Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream.

In case you missed it, below are a few videos of the flash choir from onlookers and various news outlets. The first is an official video from The Harmony Project, in conjunction with 10TV. (You can also find more on the event’s Facebook page.)

I’m sorry – This was SAD. As much as we support our Gays and as much Gay Talent that we have in this city you would have expected this to be like Chicago huge. Where are our Gays????
