Your inside connection to all the LGBT-related news that matters in Ohio and beyond!

Ohio Queers is a weekly feature that focuses on lgbt-related legislation that is currently being debated at the Statehouse in Columbus, Ohio, and other gay-centric news happening in the state at large.

Fully Committed: A Gay Wedding Affair, Columbus’ (and more then like Ohio’s) only Gay Wedding Expo featuring a host of “glbt owned and allied vendors,” is set to return for another ultra classy affair at the Athletic Club of Columbus (136 E. Broad Street) April 17.

The brain child of J. Lauren Events and sponsored by Outlook Media and the Athletic Club of Columbus,  Fully Committed is a wedding show for couples who can’t legally walk down the aisle (at least not in Ohio) but want to make their commitment ceremonies just as extravagant as any Bridezilla wedding out there, using vendors who are on our side fighting for marriage equality every day.

The 10 a..m to 2 p.m. event will feature a cocktail brunch set up with champagne and appetizers, a mix and mingle fashion show and giveaways.

Tickets are $20 in advance an $30 at the door. Ticket proceeds benefit Equality Ohio. Click HERE for a list of the local vendors that will be represented.
