As we all know, it’s Oprah’s last season and she’s been doing a lot of those “looking back” episodes where she revisits Oprah segments of the past. Tuesday she’ll add another to the list with “Coming Out on the Oprah Show: 25 Years of Unforgettable Guests,” where she’ll basically be doing a retrospective of the shows she’s done that have focused on the lgbt community (producers say there’s over 120).
It looks like it’s going to be good. She’s bringing back Olympic diver Greg Louganis who famously came out in the ’80s and also shocked the world when he announced he was HIV positive. After being injured during a dive where his blood got in the pool, it became very controversial and brought up issues about Olympic athletes and whether they should be forced to disclose their status before competing. She’s also bringing back the worlds only openly gay prince Manvendra Singh Gohil.
